Well-shoveled driveways keep us safe and allow us to do what we do best – make your home sparkle and shine.  Here are a few helpful tips for snow and ice removal:

•Spread a melting agent on driveways and walkways as soon as snow or freezing rain begins to fall.

•Choose a snow shovel with an ergonomically correct handle to prevent injuring your back.

•Use a snow pusher to move heavy, wet snow.

•Pile snow in your yard.  Shoveling snow onto streets and into alleys is against the law.

•Use an ice chisel to crack thick patches of ice for easy removal.
